Castle Drogo
Castle Drogo - Built from 1911-1930 and designed by Edwin Lutyens for Julius Drewe
We visited the building in September 2021 and below follows a small selection of images taken on the day. The castle is a testement to the craftsmen and women, the architect and the client who all played a role in the realisation of this monumental project. It’s both an abject failure and one of the most outstanding buildings in the UK and remains one of our most enduring inspirations.
