17th Century Tower House Extension

This 17th century tower house located on the East Neuk of Fife has had a long and fascinating history. The original design of the extension was undertaken by Simpson and Brown and passed on to us to develop and take through to construction.
The extension spans between the existing house and the garden wall and incorporates a new dining pavilion; it’s proportions are kept light and it’s roof appears as though it floats above the main structure. It was important to the family for us to use and source local materials and we have been working in close collaboration with a highly skilled team of carpenters who will create the Scottish Oak flitch frame structure, ceiling and joists throughout the space.
Due to begin on site, Summer 2023.
